Privacy Policy

Last updated: 27 September 2026

HappyCapy ("the game", "we", "us") is made by MD Stroebel, Australia. This policy explains what information the game uses and why. We've tried to keep it short and plain.

The short version

Information stored on your device

The game saves these on your device so it can work, and we never receive them:

Deleting the game deletes this information.

Ads (Google AdMob)

The game is free and shows ads between games, plus optional "watch a video" rewards. Ads are provided by Google AdMob. To show and measure ads, Google may collect information such as your device's advertising identifier (only if you allow it), your IP address and approximate location, and how you interact with ads. Google describes how it uses this information at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.

Purchases (Apple)

In-app purchases are processed by Apple. We never see your payment details. Apple tells the game only whether a purchase is active, so it can be restored on your other devices. See Apple's privacy policy at apple.com/legal/privacy. Purchases sit behind a grown-ups check in the game.

Leaderboards (Apple Game Center)

If you're signed in to Game Center, your scores and Game Center nickname are sent to Apple to show leaderboards. Game Center is run by Apple under Apple's privacy policy, and parents can manage it through Screen Time. We don't receive your Apple ID.

Sharing your score

If you choose to share a score card (behind a grown-ups check), the game opens Apple's share sheet and you decide where it goes. We don't receive what you share.

Children's privacy

HappyCapy is a game for everyone and is suitable for children. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children. Players who indicate they're under 13 only receive child-directed, non-personalised ads, are never asked for tracking permission, and can't make purchases, share or change settings without passing a grown-ups check. If you're a parent and believe your child's information has been collected, contact us and we'll help.

Your choices and rights

Because we don't collect personal information ourselves, there's nothing stored by us to access or delete. You can delete all game data by deleting the game. For information held by Google or Apple, use their privacy tools, or contact us and we'll help with your request. Depending on where you live, you may have rights under laws such as the Australian Privacy Act, the UK GDPR or COPPA.

Changes

If we change this policy, we'll update the date above and, for important changes, mention it in the app's update notes.
